The Dunn County Humane Society is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. As a nonprofit organization, they focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pets in need while promoting responsible pet ownership. Through their efforts, the Humane Society provides care for homeless animals and connects them with loving families, working to create a better future for pets and people alike. This supports our work in perpetuity.

Dunn County Historical Society Endowment Fund

Arts, History and Humanities

Formed in 1950, the Dunn County Historical Society discovers, preserves, interprets and shares knowledge about the history of Dunn County and its role in Wisconsin, and inspires interest in the past. This fund was created to help fund programs, projects and operations-based costs.

Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts Endowment Fund

The Mabel Tainter is a nonprofit organization that strives to strengthen and connect our community by engaging people in the arts. It offers a full performing arts season, outreach programming, and an annual Fine Arts and Crafts Fair. Donating to this fund helps ensure the longevity of the Mabel Tainter.

Menomonie Public Library

Menomonie Public Library Foundation's Endowment Fund supports the Menomonie Public Library. With the help of the Foundation, The Menomonie Public Library has committed itself to helping the citizens of Dunn County to explore new ideas, create meaningful opportunities, and pursue lifelong learning. The Foundation is proud of the support it has delivered to continuing it's mission of being a valuable resource to the community.

Stepping Stones of Dunn County Endowment Fund

Basic Human Needs such as Food and Shelter

Stepping Stones is an organization comprised of people helping people strengthen the Dunn County community by providing food, shelter and support. Stepping Stones provides food via a food pantry and personal care items to people in need. Our Community Connecctions program connects volunteers to neighbors to provide free supportive services. Our Homeless Shelter program provides shelter, housing assistance, and referral services.

United Way of Dunn County Fund

Basic Human Needs such as Food and Shelter

This fund was established to support United Way's Disaster relief fund. Funds in this endowment are meant to be used to provide emergency relief in the event of a large scale disaster in our community.

West CAP Endowment Fund

Basic Human Needs such as Food and Shelter

Established in 1965, West CAP was one of the first community action agencies in the United States. West CAP works to promote the self-sufficiency of low-income families in the rural communities of west central Wisconsin, operating as an equal opportunity employer and service provider. West CAP continues to help families overcome poverty and achieve economic stability by following its mission: to take action against poverty by developing the social and economic assets of low-income families and their communities and by working to create a more just and sustainable society.

CORBA Fund

Environment

The CORBA Endowment Fund provides support in perpetuity to support our m ission of building, improving, and maintaining multi-use trails and promoting activities and events on the trails in Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley, including mountain biking, trail running, snowshoeing and hiking, and more.

Landmark Conservancy Endowment Fund

Landmark is a non-profit conservation organization serving 20 counties in western and northwestern Wisconsin. This fund will assist in supporting Landmark preserve the natural world, as well as the wild and scenic places that surround us and that we cherish.

Free Clinic of the Greater Menomonie Area Endowment Fund

The Free Clinic of the Greater Menomonie Area provides access to primary health care and preventive health education for the people of Western Wisconsin who have no health care alternative or are under-insured. The importance of reserved funds and consistent income has been critical to remain open and solvent. The Free Clinic has established endowment fund through The Community Foundation of Dunn County. This is a long term strategy to achieve more financial stability as proceeds from the investment earnings will provide a steady income stream. Please consider giving to this endowment fund.
